Mitsubishi L200 — the fourth generation of the model. Like many pickup trucks, the L200 is well prepared for country life. The length of the loading platform is 1,325 mm, and its width to the wheel arches is 1,470 mm. At the same time, thanks to a rigid rear axle with leaf springs, the Mitsubishi L200 is ready to carry up to one ton of cargo in the cargo compartment. The maximum weight of the towed trailer is 2.7 tons.

The Mitsubishi L200 uses a four-cylinder turbodiesel with a cooling intercooler as a power plant. The 2.5-liter unit produces a maximum of 136 hp. at 4,000 rpm. Peak torque of 314 Nm is available at 2,000 rpm.

Paired with the engine, both the "mechanics" in five gears and the four-band automatic can work.

Mitsubishi L200 with a clearance of 200 mm has remarkable off-road capabilities. All pickup modifications supplied to the market are equipped with a Super Select 4WD all-wheel drive system with a transfer case and a reduction gear. The transmission has four modes - 2H, 4H, 4HLC and 4LLC. In the first, the rear wheels are driving. In the second, an interaxle viscous coupling distributes traction between the front and rear axles, depending on specific conditions. In the third, thanks to the locking of the symmetrical center differential, the torque between the front and rear wheels is transmitted in a ratio of 50:50. In the fourth mode 4LLC, in addition to locking the center differential, a downshift is also included.

Serial production of Mitsubishi L200 has been established in Thailand.
