Mitsubishi Pajero Sport the third generation got on the conveyor in 2015. The world premiere of a restyled version of this SUV took place in July 2019 in Thailand, and in Ukraine it appeared in February 2020.

The updated Pajero Sport received a completely redesigned front end in the Dynamic Shield signature style. Not only the headlights, the radiator grille and the design of the chrome elements have changed, but also the hood and fenders of the car. In addition, the designers have reduced the rear lights, "chopped off" the lower sections, and changed their internal structure. Along with this, the rear bumper diffuser has changed, a fin antenna has appeared, and a relief spoiler has been installed on the fifth door.

Significant changes have taken place in the interior of the SUV. The classic dashboard has given way to an eight-inch display with hand-drawn scales and additional side sections. The center console and the casing of the central tunnel with soft lining have completely changed. The small items tray under the floor console is now accessible from both the driver and passenger sides. In addition to this, an additional socket has been added to the USB connector on the back of the console.

The Mitsubishi Connect 2 multimedia system is equipped with an 8-inch display. You can connect to it via USB or Bluetooth, control your phone using voice commands, play video via HDMI connection and use a navigator. The car owner can use the smartphone to lock the central locking and open or close the tailgate. In addition, the tailgate locking system can be pre-configured with a smartphone to allow the driver to automatically open or close the trunk when approaching or leaving the vehicle. At the same time, wireless access operates within the working range of Bluetooth.

In top trim levels, the restyled Pajero Sport is equipped with a blind spot monitoring system with indicators in the side mirrors, a side traffic warning system when reversing from a parking lot, and adaptive cruise control with a collision avoidance function with a car ahead. To do this, an additional radar is installed in the front of the car.

Behind the new appearance and electronics lies a time-tested technique - a frame structure, an independent spring double wishbone suspension in front and a solid rear axle, a Super Select 4WD-II all-wheel drive system. The driver has access to a central differential lock, a lowered transmission range and a rear differential lock.

In Ukraine, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is presented with a 2.4-liter turbodiesel with a capacity of 181 hp. and a torque of 430 Nm. The engine is combined with a mechanical six-speed and an 8-speed "automatic". Fuel consumption in the combined cycle for a car with a manual transmission is declared at the level of 7.4 l / 100 km, and for a car with an automatic transmission - 8.0 liters per "hundred".
