Mitsubishipajerowagon- in Ukraine, an updated version of the model is offered, presented in 2011 and received new chrome inserts with stamping on the false radiator grille, as well as upgraded bumpers. Nevertheless, the current generation of Mitsubishi Pajero, which became the fourth in a row, debuted in 2006, so a new generation of SUV will see the light in the near future. According to preliminary information, the premiere of the fifth Pajero will take place in 2014.

The current modification of the model is a real SUV, which has everything “in an adult way” - the Pajero has a transfer case, a reduction gear, and differential locks.

All modifications of the model are equipped with a proprietary Super Select 4WD all-wheel drive system, the mode selection lever of which is located to the right of the automatic transmission knob. Four modes are available to the driver. The first is rear-wheel drive only (2H). The second is permanent four-wheel drive (4H), in which the distribution of thrust between the front and rear axles in the range from 33:67 to 50:50 is controlled by an interaxle viscous coupling. In 4H mode, you can drive not only on rough terrain, but also on asphalt. At the same time, you can switch between 2H and 4H modes at speeds up to 100 km / h.

Two other modes are specially designed for off-road - in 4HLc, the center differential lock is turned on, and in 4LLc, the stabilization system and most electronic assistants are additionally turned off, and a downshift is also activated. In addition, in the latter mode at speeds up to 12 km / h, you can lock the rear differential and storm off-road even with diagonally hung wheels. The front differential lock in this case will be simulated by the electronics.

At the same time, good driving habits, if you remember that we are talking about a two-ton SUV, Mitsubishi Pajero Wagon is ready to show on the pavement. This merit belongs entirely to the independent front and rear suspension. The front travel is 220mm, while the rear travel is an impressive 270mm.

As a power plant, you can choose a 3.8-liter V-shaped six-cylinder gasoline engine (250 hp, 329 Nm) or a 3.2-liter four-cylinder diesel engine (200 hp, 441 Nm).

The SUV is delivered to Ukraine only with a five-speed automatic with a sport mode.

Mitsubishi Pajero Wagon ground clearance depends on the selected engine. For gasoline modifications, it is 235 mm, and for diesel modifications, it is 225 mm.

The model is offered in fixed configurations, which can be understaffed with the help of options. The list of the latter depends on the selected performance level. In the top versions, the Mitsubishi Pajero Wagon gets leather interior, electrically adjustable seats, a panoramic sunroof, multimedia with DVD and a 9-inch monitor for rear passengers, and Rockford acoustics with 11 speakers and a subwoofer.
